This is ridiculous.

I got an email saying that

however today i got charged 4 times on my credit card where clearly the payment was fine as balance on my debit card were deducted 4 times via paypal . please help

i chat the support and they said they needed the paypal transaction id - however these payments didnt show up on my paypal transaction history and im at a lost right now

this is so frustrating and i dont know what to do

Sorry to hear about this, @adiputra.

This sounds pretty strange, but let's see what we can find.

If the payments were successful, I believe you would have 4 different transaction IDs related to the payments.

What do you see about your payment history here?

Keep me posted.

hi Hannah , yes it is very strange .

that is why I raised the issue .

in the Billing payment history I only saw it was charged one time , and that is after I updated my payment method . I changed it to my current debit card , while previously it was connected to my paypal .

I am not sure why , I contacted paypal and yet still to hear their response

Hi @adiputra, please let us know if you're still experiencing any issues.

If need be, as it's related to payments, please could you contact the support team as well for them to investigate if there were double payments on our end.

hi Jay ,

I have contacted paypal and they said it is a pending transaction and shouldve been refunded but I still yet to receive my refund until today

if nothing changes , I will be in touch with support again

Pending payments are just authorisations and dont actually deduct money. They just create a 'hold' on funds. It should drop off at some point soon.

If it is in fact your bank holding the funds, then there's nothing to refund. It's just your bank setting aside the funds for when the transaction completes.

Depending on the type of account you have, your bank could hold the funds for pending authorizations. Only your bank will be able to give you details on when the hold will be lifted and the funds returned to your account.
