MacBook Pro 2019 [16,1] and iMac 2017 [18,3] both on macOS Monterey 12.7.4 (21H1123) and Dropbox v197.2.5469.

I'm having a strange issue. The iMac's Dropbox folder location cannot be changed and is located in ~/Library/CloudStorage/Dropbox

The laptop's Dropbox folder can be edited as before and is located in the old location ~/Dropbox

Anyone have a suggestion? This is causing sync issues.

Hi @SomeOtherGuy, thanks for providing these details!

It looks like iMac is on the File Provider version of the Dropbox desktop application.

You can read up more about this change on this page, including the other changes to this version.

If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.
