    Hey folks,

Dropbox for Blackberry is finally here! We're starting with a limited beta (500 users) for OS 5.0-only devices. We'll be expanding the beta to earlier OS versions in the future as we become more comfortable with stability and performance on older devices. Check out the beta here:

    Take care,
    Will

Wow, it's fast, and works pretty much like I'd want it to! So much better than the awful Evernote beta that came out a few days ago.

Working great and super-fast over wifi! I like that my office files in DropBox automatically open up in Docs2Go.

I'm impressed with this first release - it's going to be a life changer!

Also, would be super-convenient to have a "create folder" action in the menu options. Another great options would be to copy Dropbox files to my memory card with a "copy to SD-Card" option. This would allow me to update files such as my KeePass database (stored on Dropbox), whenever I wanted to. Another option that is more of a luxury than a necessity would be the ability to browse SD card files and copy individual files from memory card to Dropbox.

Does my Blackberry need to have a memory card with the storage capacity of my dropbox? Or can I selectively store?

Thanks for the invite, its great to be part of the DROPBOX for Blackberry Beta Trial

Cosmetically its great, looks like desktop version so it's easy to navigate. I won't say there are bugs to report, but I do have a question.

    - Currently we cannot download/upload complete folders or multiple files. Is this option being worked on for a different version beta?

Awesome! THANK YOU for supporting SurePress devices! I have a 9530 (Storm) and this means a lot! I do have some quick feedback:

    1. I would drop the exit confirmation dialog box. I don't really think it's needed, and I can't think of any other BB apps I use that have one.
    2. The "Cache size:" drop down is pretty small on my device.

Other than that, it's awesome. I can already tell this is going to save my life.

So far I love it. Small problem how do I upload files? I can upload pictures okay but what about doc files. Did I miss an instruction somewhere?

Should consider more then 500...seems excessively low for a beta. Either way, great app.

First of all, big ups to Dropbox for developing a first-class Blackberry app -- you can tell time was invested in this to get the experience right. Thanks Dropbox team!!

++ to enable SD card cache support.

For the most part all the files open up quickly over wifi, no complaints there. I did notice that PDFs download, but we get a "no valid app" to open PDFs. Is a PDF app needed or can the Blackberry Attachment Service be utilized?

Otherwise, this is looking fantastic and I'm verrrry happy to have Dropbox on my BB :)
