    Hi all!
This build mostly features fixes for Snow Leopard integration and also includes many memory/performance fixes, as well as LAN sync. There are a few known issues and we'll be making releases often to resolve the remaining issues. We hope to add the final version of the Snow Leopard plugin to the 0.6 branch within a week!

To trigger the loading of the new Finder integration, force quit the Finder and then restart Dropbox. Alternatively, reboot your mac.

Please report any oddities with Finder integration (i.e. the overlays not showing/going away, the context menu item for Dropbox not appearing on control+click, the context menu for dropbox being empty, etc.), and report any Finder crashes!

    0.7.15
    - Column view should properly display overlays over quicklook previews
    - Fix to a couple Finder crashes
    - Overlays/context menu integration should appear more reliably (please let us know if you still don't have overlays after restarting the finder and dropbox!)

Known Issues (we're working on them ;-):
    - The Finder can lag during Dropbox startup
    - Dropbox overlays show on Coverflow
    - Longer initialization times than the stable build
    - Dropbox is overly aggressive with Office temp files

    Windows: http://dl-web.getdropbox.com/u/17/Dropbox%200.7.19.exe
    Mac OS X: http://dl-web.getdropbox.com/u/17/Dropbox%200.7.19.dmg
    Linux x86_64: http://dl-web.getdropbox.com/u/17/dropbox-lnx.x86_64-0.7.19.tar.gz
    Linux x86: http://dl-web.getdropbox.com/u/17/dropbox-lnx.x86-0.7.19.tar.gz

if it's important that your dropbox is stable/reliable, we recommend running the latest stable build: http://forums.getdropbox.com/topic.php?id=11683

there's an issue where the mac sleeps and when woken, loses the connection to dropbox servers. I'm on snow leopard btw. I also posted this on twitter.

Why don't you enable these builds to be updated via Sparkle or somesuch?

I don't see the green checkmark and blue sync icons on the files anymore ever since I'm on Snow Leopard. Also, for the Public folder, the right click to get "Copy public link" option does not appear anymore.

Are you aware of these ?

    Thanks

I'm still having an issue in OSX Snow Leopard where syncs from the machine don't happen unless I quit and restart Dropbox. Syncs TO it (IE, if data is altered on another computer) happen without problem, but if I do anything on the Snow Leopard machine, I have to close and restart Dropbox for it to send anything to the other computers. It will then sync correctly after doing that, but I have to do it over and over.

It's working at least, but that's not an ideal activity.

Actually I take it back, I think the syncing issue isn't happening in 0.7.15. Thumbs up!

    @sayambhu

Does Dropbox automatically update in Mac OSX? If not, it would be great if you could add Sparkle update integration! If so, where is the button to initiate an update?

Looking forward to testing the beta.

EDIT - Problem was with Growl. Fixed. No longer any issues with the 0.7.15 beta on SL/W7/Jaunty.

The only issue I've seen so far is that I'm no longer getting Growl notifications on my Mac (with Snow Leopard) when files change on my Win7 or Jaunty machines. I do get the notifications on each other machine when something changes on the Mac, though, so that's good. All three are using version 0.7.15.

So far so good. I thought the same in the last build, but it would eventually stop working. No badges, overlays, etc.

Hope this one continues to work! :D

@Scott J.: Is the Dropbox icon still in your menu bar? Right click ist and choose "Quit". If the message still appears, open Terminal and enter "killall Dropbox", this will kill the Dropbox task.

Should peer-peer syncing work in this release? I have two computers on the same network that used to sync very quickly. They are both on snow leopard now, and one was a fresh install. I was hoping that I could use peer-peer sync to get dropbox back on that computer quickly, but currently it seems to be syncing with the internet. My speed is 100k down, and its going to take 6 days at that rate!

is there anything I can do to get peer-peer sync working?

If it's a Snow Leopard build, why isn't it compiled for 64-bit?

Still have the issue as I had earlier; when I drag a folder (inside the dropbox folder) to the sidebar, the icon just gets all white. Not the usual folder icon.. I've tried to drag more folders, the same happens to all. But the funny thing is that if I select one of the folders in a "add file window" in Gmail, the folder gets the right icon (In the sidebar of finder as well) but it only works on one of the folders... Anyone else with the same problem?

Well the previous version has worked fine for me on Snow Leopard all through the pre release period. I'll give the official Snow Leopard version a go though.

0.7.15 works fine with Snow Leopard on my iMac/MacBookPro. One thing, though: after stripping (seemingly) superfluous code with Xslimmer 1.7, neither the context menu nor the overlays work anymore.

Installed the new "experimental" version of dropbox. So fax everything work well. It would be really nice if DropBox people could send us an email when better new fixes will be realeased.

Just thought I would add my two pence - updated MacBook Pro 13" (new one) to Snow Leopard last night, then updated DropBox. After install the finder crashed and rebooted - all worked fine after that though - apart from the context menu doesn't work.

Just updating DropBox on my studio iMac now to this build, before I upgrade - see if that makes a difference. Will report back as soon as I'm done.
