Seems not : once the data from a shareable link has been downloaded, no more updates are made, even if the original linked folder contains some new or modified files. It used to work inside Public, now it doesn't. Anyone have any idea why? The past linked folders from within Public still retain their "linked" status and can still retrieve their "shareable link" from the site as well. I just can't make new ones. The connection pop-up disappears after a second without any result. What's the matter? Anyone the same problem? With this new sharing model, does the recipient have the ability to write to this file, or just read? It sounds like it is a read-only mechanism and does not appear in their dropbox. That is, if I share a file (not a folder) with another dropbox user using this approach, they simply get a URL to access the file but no way to edit the file.
